About Us

Need to Know

I prefer to drift fish grass flats but most important is that we catch fish and have fun. So, if that bite is slow or doesn't suit you, we'll do what ever it takes to put fish in the boat

  • 5 hour trips start at $375
  • $75 dollars for each additional guest
  • hourly rates start at $100
  • full day and tournament rates are available
  • I try to limit the number of fisher persons to 4 in the boat but the best trips are usually 2 to 3 and the boat can take up to 6 in special cases.
  •  If there is anything we can do to make your trip more enjoyable, just let me know.
  • Other things we  enjoy
  • Summer time shark fishing
  • Fall Dove hunting

Who We Are

Captain Billy is a long time Texas angler and has fished fresh and saltwater all his life. He fished couples, team, & pro-am bass tournaments in the DFW area for numerous years and fished South Padre in the off season. His family owned several lots at Outdoor Resorts in Port Isabel. So, South Texas seemed a natural choice.  He started guiding on the Lower Laguna 9 seasons ago which was the fulfillment of a life long dream. Retired from The City of Farmers Branch after over 25 years of service. He and his wife bought a home on the Island. Bill maintains a Captain's Certification through the Coast Guard and a Texas Saltwater Guide license

We would like to thank some of our friends, Dargel Boats, Jim's Pier , CCA and Quantum reels. On the Island we found some of our favorite spots are Daddy's for the fried shrimp, Yummy's, and Sea Ranch for the early bird specials the "pasta bowl"
